A new paper many years in the making! We lay out a detailed practical discussion of how we implement broadband supercontinuum IR sources as a probe in ultrafast IR experiments, including many of the things we have learned working with it over the years. We hope this will be helpful for the community in broader implementation of this very useful—but also very finicky—source.
