Dead Horse 50M finish, first 50M attempt. Amazingly beautiful environment just north of Canyonlands. The course was certainly more technical than I was anticipating, but that was maybe down to wishful thinking on my part when I read the course description. Struggled with some persistent gut issues after going out too hard, but I’m very proud of this finish – I definitely think I have a stronger 50 in my legs. 9:40:50, good for 60/212 finishers.
